This way you can be sure that you comply with all regulations and avoid accidents. You will learn how to carry out handover checks and visual and functional tests correctly. Training

Our instruction training for equipment handover focuses on the proper handover and equipment-specific instruction of work platforms. Here are the most important points:

  • Equipment handover and instruction: Correct handover of equipment including handover check and visual and functional testing. Clear instruction on handling and control.
  • Legal basis: Overview of relevant laws such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act (ArbschG) and the Industrial Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV). Consideration of rental contract law according to the German Civil Code (BGB) and determination of the requirements for equipment instructors.
  • Documentation and methodology: Use of checklists for guided instruction and handover checks. Effective training methods for instructors.
  • Technical background: Understanding of major equipment groups and categories. Insight into controls, support/setting up, safety switches and sensors, emergency controls and residual current devices.
  • Visual and functional inspection: Application of the contents according to DGUV I 208-019 (BGI 720) to equipment components such as drive unit, hydraulics, basket, electronics, support systems and boom.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Introduction to the importance and use of PPE and other safety equipment.
