The Head of Depot and Warehouse is a key role in our company. In this position, you will be responsible for the depot and the associated logistics processes – from the efficient management of the warehouse and the smooth technical handling of the delivery and collection process to the coordination between logistics, technical internal services, and the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Management: Monitoring inventory, planning and conducting inventory controls, ensuring warehouse organization and efficiency.
• Delivery Process: Coordination and monitoring of all steps in the delivery process – from the technical preparation of machines to delivery to customers – while adhering to schedules and quality standards.
• Technical Interface Function: Close collaboration with the workshop, dispatch, and technical internal services to correctly record technical requirements, pass them on, and translate them into smooth processes.
• Process Optimization & Digitalization: Identifying potential for improvement in warehouse and delivery processes, actively shaping and utilizing digital tools and systems for process support.
• Safety and Compliance: Adherence to safety standards at the depot and during deliveries, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and experience in warehouse management and delivery management, ideally with a technical background (e.g., technical training or comparable experience in handling machines/equipment).
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to mediate between the workshop and organizational departments.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor when interacting with different departments.

As a dispatcher for access platforms and forklifts, you are the heart of our logistics and the most important point of contact for our customers. In this position, you manage the entire rental process – from the initial customer inquiry and consultation to the clever deployment planning of our machines and efficient tour planning for our drivers.

Your responsibilities

• Clever Dispatch & Fleet Management: You plan and monitor the deployment of our access platforms and forklifts and always have a precise overview of our inventory and availabilities.
  
• Tour & Transport Planning: You organize the efficient delivery and collection of equipment and optimally assign our transport vehicles and drivers – always with an eye on schedules and economic efficiency.
  
• Customer Service & Order Processing: You are the first point of contact on the phone. You accept rental inquiries, advise our customers specifically on the appropriate equipment, and create the corresponding offers and orders.
  
• Interface Management: You work closely with the depot manager, workshop, and driving staff daily to ensure that every machine arrives at the customer in top condition and on time.
  
• Digital Process Control: You use our modern dispatch and ERP systems for seamless documentation and actively contribute to shaping our digital processes.
  

Your requirements

• Completed commercial or technical training (e.g., freight forwarding and logistics services merchant) or comparable professional experience.
  
• Professional experience in dispatch, ideally in the rental business for construction machinery, industrial trucks, or access platforms.
  
• Strong spatial reasoning and logistical skills for clever tour planning.
  
• A cool head and high flexibility – you don't lose your nerve when plans change at short notice and solutions are needed quickly.
  
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a distinct customer and service orientation.
  
• High IT affinity and enjoyment of organizing your daily work with digital tools and modern software solutions.

As a service technician (m/f/d) at BIBERGER in Schierling You not only get our machines back into top shape, but also ensure that they perform reliably on every construction site.

Your tasks:

• Maintenance, repair and servicing of work platforms, forklifts and telehandlers – either directly at the customer’s premises or in our workshop.
• Diagnose faults on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Carry out safety checks and regular inspections in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Assemble and disassemble assemblies and components.
• Document your work and coordinate with customers and colleagues.

What you bring with you:

• Completed training as a mechatronics engineer, agricultural and construction machinery mechanic, automotive mechatronics engineer or in a similar field.
• Ideally, initial experience with work platforms, forklifts or similar machines.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics and mechanics.
• An independent and solution-oriented way of working.
