Are the exam questions different in Germany, Austria and Switzerland?
The content of the theory tests is very similar in all three countries, as topics such as safety, technology and behavior are the focus everywhere.
However, the official questionnaires are drawn up by different institutions – in Germany by the DGUV , in Austria by the AUVA and in Switzerland by the SUVA .
Therefore, the wording and focus may differ, even if the learning content is largely the same.

How many questions does a real theory test have?
The number of questions depends on the training and the provider. The forklift license theory exam typically consists of 20–30 questions . For aerial work platforms or cranes, the number is usually 15–25 . The exams usually consist of multiple-choice questions covering the most important safety and technical topics.
