The Haulotte Compact 12 AE is the ideal solution for safe and efficient work in indoor and outdoor areas with limited space. With a working height of up to 11.75 m and a maximum platform height of 9.75 m , this model is particularly suitable for maintenance, installation, and assembly work in industrial halls, warehouses, or on construction sites with level ground.
Despite its compact dimensions, the Compact 12 AE offers a load capacity of up to 450 kg indoors – enough for up to three people plus tools . It also impresses outdoors with a payload of 320 kg for one person. The large 2.4 m long platform can be extended to 3.32 m , allowing for a larger work area without relocation.
With its tight turning radius of just 1.83 m , a stable AC electric drive, and robust, non-marking tire tread, it is extremely maneuverable – even in confined spaces. Its 25% gradeability allows it to be used on slightly inclined surfaces or ramps.
It is operated via an ergonomic, proportionally controlled control panel with a joystick. Additional safety features include an audible warning signal, fall protection bars, manual emergency lowering, and the Haulotte Activ'Screen with comprehensive diagnostic and service functions. The integrated forklift pockets make internal transport particularly easy.
Thanks to maintenance-friendly AGM batteries , the Activ'Energy management system and a modular design, this model is particularly reliable and economical in use .

In order to operate a work platform, you need appropriate training, also known as a lifting platform license . For a forklift, however, you need a forklift license .
